Shwetha Nirmal

My name is Shwetha, a dance teacher, performer, founder, and artistic director of KalaSiddhi Academy of Bharatanatyam in the Pacific Northwest region.

I am a recipient of ' The All India Solo-Dance Competition' by winning the Silver Medal and has had the honor of performing in Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi in the presence of the then Prime Minister of India and The Governor of Karnataka at Raj Bhavan in Bangalore. I have performed in the 'India- Vietnam Youth Exchange' program.
I yearn to continuously learn the deep rooted theoretical aspects of this art form bringing to light the forgotten flavors by weaving the art with current socio, economic and political concepts to make this age-old art form relevant and absorbable to the current generation
I connects hearts through arts by raising funds for non-profit organization assisting primary, secondary, and advanced college education, free healthcare, free clean water projects, free homes, clothes, food, and more
I derive immense pleasure in sharing this timeless tradition to the best of my abilities, and connect with communities on a global scale continue to pursue this passion by performing in various states in the USA and have received recognitions for the same.

Yours sincerely,
Shwetha Nirmal
