The Mahogany Project
Executive Director
Hi everyone,
I'm an actor, writer, song-writer, global traveller, outdoor enthusiast and Executive Director of the Mahogany Project. Collaborating with artists and bringing people together to share their stories, especially through interactive events, is a big passion of mine.

My camping experience started at 1 year old with family. I don't remember much but have pictures that show me having a grand old time in my pop-up crib at our campsite.
I have been camping, hiking and trekking ever since.

Being at Refuge Outdoors and creating art with others will be so much fun! Like having an orange creamsicle popsicle on a hot day! My favorite flavor!

Chino Gonzales (Bonnet Black) and I are excited to bring our new interactive game show 'Play Time', to Refuge Outdoors 2023.

Join us as we create art together!
Through friendly competition, we will play games, test ourselves with outdoor trivia skills, and create community together.
Get ready for an evening of laughter, singing, dancing, movement and imagination.

All AGES are welcome!!!
(Friday, August 18th - 8:30pm-9:15pm)

Since 2006, TMP has collaborated with artists from the African diaspora by producing and showcasing their work. We are dedicated to supporting artists and sharing the diverse perspectives of local and global Black experiences through multi-disciplinary art forms.
