Minh Carrico
I'm an artist, curator, and educator with a background in photography and design. I launched a business as an editorial and advertising photographer prior to graduating from college. My creative services elevated into art direction and graphic design while working in New York City.
I'm presently an instructor and chair for Photography and Visual Communications at Edmonds College. I'm also an Artist Up mentor for those working in the arts and culture industry across Washington. In addition, I curate art gallery exhibitions centering emerging and mid-career BIPOC artists that examine memory, myths, and the reconstruction of identities.
My present studio practice focuses on producing site-specific public art installations in response to the land while reflecting upon the community. I continue to exhibit artwork in galleries and museums across North America. Selected works are included in public and private collections.
