As a self-taught (more like a "community-taught") artist in a budding genre, I've had to get really creative about how I evolve in my artistry. Growing up with limited resources, I've never been a stranger to finding ways to stretch a little to a lot. Art was never presented as an option for a career path, so I went the more traditional route and obtained a degree in psychology. But after a pivotal life event pushed me into the arts, I've been on an adventure to apply what I learned from other fields to my current passion.

In this artist talk, I'll share how I use my background and growth journey as inspiration for my craft, detail the steps I took to progress in as an artist, and offer a glimpse of the upcoming projects that I'm excited for. If you've ever felt like you're making it up as you go, or aren't sure what an unconventional artist journey could look like- join me for this conversation!
