Capoeira Angola is an African Brazilian martial art. The basic elements of Capoeira are movements, music, history and philosophy. In this workshop the participants will have an introduction to the basic movements of Capoeira Angola and understand how the body dialogue is fundamental part of the Capoeira game. The participants will learn the basic Capoeira rhythms playing instruments such as tambourines, drum and the musical bow "berimbau". The history and philosophy of this African-Brazilian martial art will be shared with the public by learning how to sing the songs in Brazilian Portuguese and understanding the meaning of those songs when singing in the Capoeira cypher- roda.
