Sony Purba
Originally from Indonesia, Sony came to the US in the early ‘90s to earn her college degrees in Art and Architecture. She moved from the Midwest to Seattle in 2002 and has been calling it home ever since. For over two decades, Sony was focused in building her career as a licensed architect. However, her passion for arts has always been there. She truly believes that art and architecture belong in the same creative world and should work together. With the freedom of working for herself, Sony decided to expand her work and life experiences as an artist. She is excited to continuously explore in creating connections between art and architecture through her paintings, sculptures, and spatial designs.
Currently, Sony is an active member of A/NT Gallery, a co-op gallery, in Seattle Center. As an emerging artist, she looks forward expanding her world within the art communities locally and internationally.
