Hi! We're Down the Ave LLC, founded by Sarah Cabarteja and Rahma Kamel. We're a women-owned, BIPOC team working to spread the joy of game night with diversity and relatable card content. Our team was formed through the University of Washington’s Create A Company Program in the Foster School of Business. In this program, we produced our first game, Down the Ave, a U District-themed card game. There was originally 5 of us, but after graduating in June 2021, two of the founders bought the company back from the UW and we continued to grow the business by filing for LLC status and expanding production in 2022. We have just launched our second game, Keep it PNW: a Card Game Guide to the Upper Left, this Summer, and are hoping to scale up to being on store shelves. Our hope is to reach a larger platform for wholesale connections.
